Just a bit about those linkys…. « Writing Builds Characters

I’ve recently discovered Google Reader and now blog reading is a piece of cake. I used to make links to the various blogs and news articles that I frequent. Each day I would click on the links to see if someone updated their blog. Now I don’t have to. Reader lets me know when those blogs are updated, and I’ve added the reader gadget to my Google homepage so every time I open the internet, I can see all the new posts smiling up at me. So I decided to share some of those blogs that I have on Reader by posting them as links here on WBC.

Blogs about writing and the life of writers…

Erica Orloff – Great posts about the writing process with some inspiration thrown in.

Something She Wrote – Janna also explores the ups and downs of the writing process.

What am I doing in Mexico? – Melanie discusses writing and her experiences living in Mexico.

Mightier Than a Sword - Anne shares with us her life as a published writer and a few commentaries on life.

Mind Over Mullis - If you need a good laugh, hop over to this blog. Amy has a talent of turning life’s little adventures into humorous events.

This is a much easier route to reading blog entries. I have this function too, but don’t use it as much as I visit users blogs. Thanks for mentioning my site. I am happy that you enjoy it, and stop by.

It took me forever to start using Google Reader, but now I love it. I still feel a little guilty that I don’t visit every site, but since I leave a lot of comments, I am visiting for the most part.

Ana – Glad to do it. I haven’t seen a blog like yours before. It really is a nice place to stop and contemplate during our busy days.

Melanie – I was the same. Mr. C has been using it for a while but I didn’t ‘get it’. Now that I have a long list of blogs and articles, I can’t imagine NOT using it. (I found Erica on your link list.)
